Yung Majik, K’chinga video hits African charts
CHINA and Namibia-based rap/hip/hop moguls, Yung Majik and K’chinga, respectively, have taken their respective base with some stormy hits following the release of their video, “No Viagra”.
The Select Entertainment members’ track has been on number two for the three weeks on the One Africa TV and MTV channels in Namibia, while Yung’s own solo video of “She Got It” is currently hitting the airwaves on Channel O.
C.R.I.$.I.$ to shoot movie
ZAMBIA’s hip hop artist C.R.I.$.I.$’ planned first ever movie is set for shooting following the international support he has received from well-wishers.
Support comes after C.R.I.$.I.$ requested for funds to shoot a movie that is loosely based on his life.
Taurus Musik Presents: Zone Fam
Exciting news from Taurus Musik comes to you in the form of our latest band to be signed; Zone Fam. Lusaka’s energetic Hip Hop group consists of four members namely; Dope G, Jay Rox, Yung Verbal and Thugga, the group was founded in 2009 by Mr. Duncan Sodala.
What brought the members together was a mutual love and passion for Hip Hop and has enabled them to effortlessly work on timeless music together. This can be seen in their solo mixtapes that were released in 2010 and their main album named The Business (Foreign Exchange) that featured prominent Zambian artists and went on to be one of the best albums in 2011.
K’millian’s unplugged show thrills LIV
PATRONS at Club LIV, Diamonds of Lusaka, on Kafue Road were last weekend treated to a rare unplugged performance from K’millian, who once terrorised and commanded the airwaves with hits such as Kakabalika, Niwe Weka, Nili Pa Ulendo and Uleibukisha, .
The artiste, who is currently working on his seventh album Timeless, offered what many other artistes in the country and those that have been visiting the country fail to do; performing live on nothing but guitar, key board and drums.
Ephraim set for Europe, USA
SON of Africa, Ephraim, is set to go for a four-month musical tour in Europe and United States of America starting next month.
Ephraim told the Weekend Mail that he will be leaving for UK in July for a series of shows in different towns. He said he will be in the UK from July 7 to 27 before connecting to USA, where he is booked from August to October.
Ephraim said he will perform in a number of states in the USA, especially those states where he has performed before as he has popular demand.

‘PENJANI Deborah Nguni is one of Zambia’s best known young Gospel artistes. A gifted and passionate singer, Penjani has been singing since the age of three.
The daughter of Emmanuel Ng’uni, one of Zambia’s foremost Gospel folk musicians, Penjani nurtured her gift through the years, singing at Sunday School and the youth choir at her home church Northmead Assembly of God in Lusaka, and occasionally filling in as a background singer for her father.
